Concert Photos, Videos and Reviews

A few of Ed Sheeran's concert photos and videos...

Live at Rock City in Nottingham
Sarah O'Malley from The Guardian says:

"At only 20-years-old, his performance has the confidence and content of artists twice his age."

"Constructing each song with only voice and guitar loops recorded live on stage, it is hard not to be impressed by his musicianship. "

"Throughout the night, you get the feeling that he is enjoying this just as much as the screaming fans in front of him."

Live at Shepherds Bush Empire
Emily Jupp from The Independent says:

"His voice is great, clear, bright and versatile"

"Sheeran comes across as a down-to-earth guy, someone you'd share your lunch with if they forgot theirs"

  1. What venues has Ed Sheeran played in support of his album?

Why do you think Ed and his team chose these places?

Well done for including hyperlinks with your quotes, however its worth always mentioning what publication you got them from as well as their name, just to make things clearer.

  2. Ed Sheeran played in the venues that he had originally organised for his tour before rising to fame. He released the album between all of these and played in small venues around the country. Now that he has gained publicity he is playing around the country again but in bigger venues in 2012.

I think that Ed Sheeran chose those places like Rock City and Shephards Bush Empire to play at because they are reasonably small and suit the amount of fans he has and his style of music. Because he is playing acoustic songs that are quite quiet and personal he is able to connect with the audience on a better level rather then it just being in a massive arena.

  3. I think he also played on Jools Hollands show because it was great publicity for him. This was proved by is fast rise to fame after playing on the show where The A Team sold thousands of copies.
